| What: | Super Moto, Side Car Racing, and Super Bike Stunt Riders | | Where: | Road Course | | When: | 8/17/2007 | | Info: | Side Car Car Racing:
What do you do when you blend a 1200cc water cooled engine with slick racing tires, a second person and a third wheel? Some of the most exhilerationg motorsports action that's out there. Sidecar roadracing is gaining popularity in North America as thrill packed sport for both spectators and racers alike.
The Sidecar Racers Association (S.R.A) is a non for profit organization whose mission is to organize and promote side car racing in north america. It is the only motorsport which requires two people to act as and react together to control the machine. Both racers on the team are fully exposed to the elements; there are no roll cages or harnesses. The passenger must move fully across the sidecar with split second timing while spectators watch exotic rigs float their chair wheel just over the track curbing

(also called Supermotard due to its strong foothold in France) is a cross-over of motocross and road racing. Races are commonly held on road racing tracks with an off-road section in the infield; approximately 70% tarmac and 30% dirt. The motorcycles used are frequently custom-created combinations of off-road motorcycles and road-racing rims/tires. Riders also wear a combination of road race and offroad equipment, normally leathers and a motocross helmet and boots. Unlike normal motorcycle racing, the emphasis lies on slower (<100 mph), short and twisty tracks, where skill matters far more than outright machine performance.
